‘Be the Best Marketing Agents’

first_imgThe board chair of the Palm Insurance Corporation (PIC), Mr. Aagon Tingba, Jr., Friday, February 14, urged graduates of PIC to be the best marketing agents in the country.Mr. Tingba, Jr., urged the marketing agents to take the first steps that are needed to build a more promising future for themselves and that of PIC.“Be the best marketing agents you can be in Liberia,” he added.  At least 17 persons graduated.In his keynote address, Mr. Tingba noted that marketing agents should be able to establish a customer relationship with the public as well as being able to sell the company’s product. He also urged them to maximize the wealth of the entity.He further told the graduates to seek a competitive edge as ‘marketing agents,’ which he said, is the best revenge (payback) in the business world.“Every lecture you’ve listened to during your training in this company, every role play, questions and answers you provided, essay written as well as certification you’ve earned, they have all prepared you to adapt change and challenges in order to be successful at Palm,” Tingba indicated.Also speaking, Ms. Venice V. Dean, president and CEO of Palm Insurance Corporation gave the overview of PIC. Ms. Dean further said the company’s financial strength enables it to underwrite all manner of risk incidents.According to Ms. Dean, PIC is a member of the West African Insurance Company Association (WAICA), locally a member of the Liberian Business Association (LIBA) as well as the Association of Insurers in the country.     She said the weight of the company is evidenced by high professionalism, reliability and efficiency in its operations.“Life is full of pressure and uncertainties in all kinds of forms and manners; you must ensure that you your organization have a secure future,” Ms. Dean said.The company is registered and licensed by the government through the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL) to transact all lines of non-life and life assurance businesses.PIC was established in 2004 by a group of Liberian entrepreneurs following a careful study on how to make insurance affordable and simple for ordinary Liberians to understand.For his part, Richard D.
